　　1.accord v. 遵照，遵循
　　cut one's coat according to one's cloth 量入为出
　　例句：We can't afford to buy a house this big. We have to cut our coat according to our cloth.
　　我们买不起这么大的房子。我们得量人为出。
　　2.fit vi.1.(使)适合，合身 2.安装，装置 adj. 1.适合的，恰当的 2.健康的，健全的 n.1.(病的)发作，突发2.一阵
　　(as) fit as a fiddle 身体特别好(类似的习语应注意掌握：in the pink， in good shape 都表达身体好)
　　A：Harry！ How have you been？ I haven't seen you in ages.
　　A：哈里！你怎么样？我好长时间没见着你了。
　　B：l'm fit as a fiddle. This exercise program I'm following as terrific.

　　3.interval n. 间歇，间距
　　at the interval (of sport)在中间休息时(during the intermission between the two halves of a play， a concert or a match)
　　A：I hear that you liked the play last night.
　　A：我听说你喜欢昨晚的话剧。
　　B：As a matter of fact， we left at the interval.
　　B：实际上我们中间休息时就离开了。
　　4.sold adj. 出售的；卖掉的
　　(be) sold out 卖完，售完(out of stock)
　　例句：1.He bought a history book， but the Chinese and English text-books were sold out.
　　他买了一本历史书，但汉语和英语的教材已经卖完了。
　　2.Since the lecture is open to the public， I imagine that the tickets may have been sold out.
　　既然讲座是对外公开的，我想票也许卖完了。
　　5.trade n. 贸易；商业；职业 v. 交换；买卖
　　trade in 以旧换新(买)(对照：invest in 表示直接买)
　　A：It's going to cost a fortune to get my car fixed.
　　A：修我的车可要花大价钱。
　　B：Why don't you just trade it in for a new one？
　　B：你为什么不卖了它换辆新的？
